1979 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

NO RESERVE!
RARE, amazing sunroof Bay Window Bus with virtually NO rust. Rare, multi-colored original paint/striping. (78-79 only) Lived most of its life in Kansas, a true survivor! Original 2.0 liter Fuel-Injected engine. Everything is still factory original- except for the radio and aftermarket speakers- right down to the rubber bumper guards on the front bumper!! Everything works GREAT on this bus! All electronics- gauges (gas gauge IS accurate!), blinkers, lights etc. Only thing is the heat is weak (obviously) and the sunroof is not functional. I waxed and buffed the paint on the drivers side half of the bus, the paint all came back and looks awesome!
Only rust is surface- makes for some pretty sweet patina. There is one small hole in the floor of the rear, it has been patched and covered with anti rust paint.Still has most of the FACTORY anti-rust spray on the underside and in the wheel-wells.
Brand new tires. Brand new brakes/rotors. Shocks were done not too long ago either.
Bus is believed to have 118k original miles. Previous owner had it for 15+ years, and only ran it around town.
Bought it a couple months ago, cruised home going 65+ on the highway with no issues, then I started having idle issues. Best guess is the FI is acting up, or perhaps a vaccuum leak. Starts with a jump, but has intermittent idle issues. Shouldn't be too much work to get her on the road again if you know what you're doing. (I do not) Please watch this video of the current state of the engine:

Runs healthy for a couple seconds, then cuts out and wants to die. Almost positive it's something minor like a vacuum leak.
Please look at all the photos in detail. I have added photos of inside the wheel wells- incredibly and originally dry. Looks the same underneath the entire bus and all wheel wells.
One of the cleanest, straightest, dryest busses you will find. A true time capsule and great survivor. Will only increase in value. Only selling because I'm forced to.
Bus is located 45 mins south of Salt Lake City.
CLEAN, accident-free Utah Title in-hand.
PayPal for $500 deposit ONLY. Would prefer you pick the bus up in person, and hand me cash. If not, I will be glad to help with shipping, as soon as payment is received. I will accept a wire transfer or cashier's check. Deposit due within 24 hours. Full payment due 3 days after that.
I will not be shipping this bus internationally. I have no experience doing so and don't want to risk getting screwed. If you have done international shipping before, and can assure me of a smooth transaction, perhaps we can talk about it. Otherwise, no, I will not be shipping this to Africa. Thanks.
Good luck!
