1973 Volkswagen Thing **NO RESERVE** VW 181

Wow... What a cool and unusual classic car! I am helping sell this extremely collectible, 1973 VW Thing to someone who is looking for great potential, a good survivor or just a desirable project. The car was driven into the family barn with 73,210 original miles, over 20 years ago, and not pulled out until now. It is now time to settle the estate. This car has plenty of "patina", surface rust and real rust. The family had a mechanic get the car running and driving. It starts, runs, drives and shifts well. This car is rolling on a very old set of bad tires that need to be replaced. The original title has been lost, so it is being sold with a bill of sale. This car has some very interesting features - lift off doors, gas heater, fold down windshield and rear seats. This is a hard to find car that deserves restoring. I tried to take pictures of all angles so you can see what you are getting.
The car has a current NADA Book Value of: Low - $8,350; Average - $20,000; High - $33,200. This is definitely a great investment - climbing in value every year. I have 100% positive feedback (please read) because I don't exaggerate the condition of cars. This car is being sold without reserve, as I feel this is the only fair way to sell a car at auction. If you have any questions, please call me (Ken) directly (quickest and preferred) at 513-403-7386, or email, and I will help you. You do not have to wait for the auction to end. The family is accepting offers. If this is the car for you, call me and make an offer today.
$1,000 due in 48 hours, balance due in 7 days.
