This is definitely a collectors item, if you are just looking for a less that $6k Smart Car I highly recommend both the gas and electric models but if you want something no one else has this 1 owner car is for you.
Very well maintained convertible with low milage less than 36k miles on a Mercedes common rail .08 Liter 6 valve 40hp diesel engine that gets aprox. 50+mpg average, the car will go 85mph without issue and has almost a 300 mile range on with its whopping 5 gallon tank tank.
They only imported diesels into Canada in 2005 I purchased this car in Canada in 2005 from the dealer and had it titled in Florida in 2008 I have most of the receipts and original paperwork. I hate to sell it but we recently bought a 2015 Electric Smart car and am loving the electric despite is short range it works for us.
Exterior:The exterior condition of the body, paint and top is excellent for a 13 year old car. This vehicle has been mostly garage kept and there are only very few minor cosmetic issues which can be seen in the pictures. The electric top works well and only the removable (top) door jams have a small bit of rust in the corner which can be easily fixed.
Interior:Interior is in excellent shape and is all original with black cloth seats and black carpets with NO visible stains or wear.
Engine:This is the real gem of this car its a very unique and low maintenance 3 cylinder Mercedes common rail .8 liter 6 valve 40hp diesel. All maintenance and service has been done on this vehicle and it has had a recent oil change and new battery.
Pickup:Vehicle is located in West Palm Beach, FL a $500 deposit must be paid via within 24hours of the end of the auction. The buyer is welcome to pick it up and driver the car home or arrange shipping and logistic locally or internationally.
