1964 Pontiac Grand Prix 2-door hardtopFor sale here is a very nice 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix. Has a good running 389 V-8 4-BBL. Automatic trans with floor shift.Fairly new Hercules H/P 4000 Radial tires that ride very nicely. The original hubcaps look great on these raised letter tires.
As you can see in the photos, the body of this cool cruiser is in great shape and the black paint shines well. The underside is in nice shape also. Very solid floors and trunk. Inner rockers are good and frame and body mounts and floor braces all look good. The chrome and stainless, both exterior and interior, is very good and shines well. All of the glass is good. The interior is in great shape. The seats are comfortable. The door panels and headliner are in nice condition. No cracks in the dash and the package shelf is nice also. The dash gauges are clear and the dash itself is a nice one. Pretty good steering wheel and horn ring also. The carpet is decent but not new. The engine compartment is pretty clean and original looking. The hood stays up when raised and shuts well as do the doors and trunk lid. As you can see in the photos, the body is nice and the paint is very good. Body panels are pretty straight. The bumpers are solid. The car starts right up and runs well. Shifts good. Does have a pull to the left upon hard braking. My guy says a wheel cylinder needs replaced. Brakes seem good besides that. The following are working: remote mirror, all turn signals and green dash indicator arrows, map light, wipers, dash lights, dome light and switch, speedometer and fuel gauge, horn, heat and defrost blower with 4-speed blower. The radio works great! Both front and rear speakers work and so does the dash switch that directs the sound from front to rear or both. Very cool. These aren't currently working: clock, tach, A/C, (have not tried A/C, all components seem to be there), the console cover plate for the floor shift is missing. I do have a set of the cool and rare 8-lug wheels that I would sell with the car at an additional price.
This is a really nice and sleek '64 Grand Prix, especially in black. The contrasting white bucket seat interior is very nice too. Add the 8-lug wheels and really look good driving around town. Get those "looks" and "points" as you drive by. Sold in as-is condition. Please feel free to ask questions. Inspection available.
