1976 Triumph TR-6

I am reluctantly selling my beloved TR6 as it came from the factory in British Racing Green. The whole interior was redone in tan from black. 88K original miles. Always was garaged and covered. Mostly everything is original on car. Upgraded to elctronic ignition and added sport exhaust system.Starts every time. I rebuilt the carburetors last year (too kept them original). All other maintenance was performed by British Car Service own by the leader of the Long Island Triumph club. I put the car in storage for a few years but always took it out for a run.Continuously registered and inspected every year.

I have too many projects going on in my garage soshe needs to be owned by someone willing to continue taking on those back roads and early morning drives. Everthing works except the trunk light. It had the special undercoating done when it was new so there is little rust underneath. Top is like new just a little dusty from being stored. Radio delete when ordered new. You can't hear the music anyway with those Monza exhaust pipes. What a sweet sound. Originally bought it from a guy in North Carolina over 10 years ago. Have records of all work that was done to vehicle. Speedometer is off when you drive but I am always looking at the Tach when I drive. You get to know the hum of the engine to know what speed you are doing. I am offering this car way below the classic car book values for "very good condition" category. Selling it for way under the amount my insurance company has it insured for. LOW RESERVE. Also, selling vehicle locally.Ask for James at 516-805-7562 for any more info. Local pick up OK. Will help ship vehicle at buyers expense. Many parts to go with auto. will put in trunk. I have video I can email showing the car starting and running for interested buyers to watch.
