1923 Oakland 4 Passenger Coupe model 6-44. In 1923 Oakland made a Roadster, 2 passenger coupe, 4 passenger coupe, and 5 passenger sedan and a touring car. This listing is correct that it was called a coupe in 1923. Sedans were a longer body with three windows on each side. I believe this is the only 4 passenger coupe that is known to still exist. This was a museum car before it was purchased privately andprofessionaly restored.Body off frame restoration completed in 2009. We purchased the car from the family that had it restored. We have driven this reliably on many tours. Have never had it judged so don't know how it would show. Everything works except the speedometer but I have recently acquired a good working speedometer. Front tires are new. Rear tires are still good. This is a 3 speed non synchronized transmission. Has the original hand operated windshield wiper.Has original wood wheels. Engine was completely rebuilt and thetransmission overhauled with new cone clutch. We put on an aftermarket Zenith carburetor for touring purposes. There are about 1200 miles on car since restoration.Even the in tank gas gauge works. This is a taller than average car but will fit in most garages. It does not have the correct window cranks. Feel free to ask questions about its condition.
