1963 Austin-Healy Sprite MK II Sprite
1963 AUSTIN-HEALY SPRITE MK IIBeautifully and comprehensively restored with the utilization of factory parts, in addition to having been professionally painted after being brought to its bare metal; this 1963 Austin Healy Sprite MK II Roadster is presented in an enamoring color specification and offers an analog driving experience, unlike any other! From its manual gearbox, superbly lightweight construction, delightful road presence, to a liberating open-air experience, that's further enhanced by way of the synonymy that emits from its audaciously... audible carburetors!Upon viewing this alluring automobile, you're welcomed by an exterior displayed in a modish and jubilant Salmon finish, a Robbins Everflex Vinyl top in a contemporary Gray finish, tri-bar headlights (by Lucas PL), select exterior surfaces in chrome (such as the rear overriders, tail/headlight and foglight surrounds), and wire wheels, also in Chrome. The cabin's bespoke interior features supple Salmon leather upholstery (with the seats and armrest being accentuated by stitching and Dark Gray pipping), leather shift boot and Wilton Wool carpeting, featured in Dark Gray, while Chrome and Aluminum adorn select interior surface areas; with the 3-spoke (Aluminum) and wood wrapped Les Leston Steering Wheel, completing the interior. Underneath the bonnet (with many of the parts being powder-coated) lies a professionally built (balanced and lightened), inline-4-cylinder, 1,275-cubic centimeter engine (featuring new, cast-aluminum valve covers, (along with a quick release cap), and internals, in addition to new SU HS2 carburetors with Les Leston Air Horns -- also installed are Jet Hot coated headers, stainless-steel exhaust system, a rebuilt suspension system and new quarter Elliptic leaf springs and shocks, in addition to a new wiring harness (cloth-braided) ) and is mated to a 4-speed, manual transmission while having the power remitted to the rear wheels. For additional information regarding this beautifully and comprehensively restored 1963 Austin Healy Sprite MK II Roadster, call us now at 516-217-2580!
