1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass T-tops
This is a beautiful 1985 Cutlass Salon with only 51,100 miles. It was purchased new in 1985 by my dad and I bought it from him in 2007. The car has been greatly cared for as you can tell by the photos. Fun car to drive with the T-tops out and windows down. Its a head turner with its original white factory paint with TST paint sealant, new RWL tires, and its factory chrome wheels. Please see more photos and a video at the links below.
The rich looking burgundy interior is all original with bucket seats, door panels, carpet, floor mats, headliner, dash, rear window tray, steering wheel, and shifter all in excellent condition. The car is equipped with the original AM/FM cassette radio, power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows, power door locks, and power driver's seat. The power antenna stays in the up position as the belt/cable is broke that connects to the power antenna motor to raise and lower it. In the glove box are all the original manuals, window sticker, and Cutlass Supreme/Salon sales book. Two sets of the original GM keys with key tag, along with 3 extra sets of keys, are included. The trunk compartment is in perfect condition with the original trunk carpet, spare tire (never used), and jack.
The undercarriage is clean with factory undercoating. This Cutlass is in excellent condition mechanically. The 5.0L 307 4 barrel runs and sounds great. Three weeks ago the car had a 4 wheel alignment, new front brakes, front shocks, and a new exhaust. The brand new Cooper Cobra tires (215/70R14) were put on this past week. The AC was converted to R134 in 2007. AC and heat works great. All new belts were installed in 2015, along with coolant, power steering, and transmission flush.
As mentioned, the exterior looks sharp with the glossy white original paint, T-tops, chrome bumpers and trim, and flawless chrome wheels. There is a small paint rub on the front right corner above the headlight and a very small chip in the paint (< 1/16") on the left side of the trunk lid. Both of these small spots (shown in linked photos) can be easily touched up. There is also a small rock ding in the vertical chrome trim piece by the passenger window (shown in linked photos). I have a brand new replacement OEM trim piece still in the package that just needs to be put on to replace the dinged one. All the polished chrome trim really sets the car off from front to back. The original GM covers for the T-tops are in the trunk to keep the T-top panels protected when they are stored in the trunk. All the gasketing for the windows and T-tops are original. The gasket along the passenger window has a split across it (shown in linked photos).
