1997 GMC Safari Custom Conversion Van

I bought this van for a spring break trip to the Smoky Mountains and Florida with my pop-up camper. The trip went flawlessly and the van ran and drove perfect. The All Wheel Drive made pulling the camper through the mountains a breeze. You can drive this van ANYWHERE, I just proved it!
It has very comfortable custom Flexsteel captains chairs, custom interior lighting, lots of power sockets, custom van windows (with screens for camping), built in window shades, a rear folding seat/bed, and a custom built slide out cooler box (I was planning to make a camper van out of it and will remove the box if you don't want it.)
I bought it from a friend's wife. They were the 1st AND 2nd owners, I'm the 3rd. They used the van to visit family out West and drive to their winter home in Florida until he passed away a couple years ago and the van didn't get used much since. It has a perfect CarFax report which I have a copy of and was always dealer maintained.
I had it fully inspected and ALL needed repairs and maintenance completed in February 2018 before my trip, everything now works as it should with no warning lights, strange noises, or rattles. Some of the new includes:-New Hankook tires, suspension work, and a full 4 wheel alignment.-New radiator and hoses.-Front brake hoses, calipers, and pads.-Window motor, wiper blades, and all lights/bulbs.-I also had a class 3 trailer hitch and wiring with a 7 way RV plug installed by U-Haul. Can pull up to 6000 lbs.
The shocks and struts were replaced in 2016 at the dealer during her annual inspection. The frame and undercarriage are solid with just a bit of surface rust from sitting but not rusted out or rotted.
The body is in very good shape overall and looks great, however, there is some minor rust at the lower corners of the wheel wells and a dent in the back that can be seen in the photos.
Vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction anytime.
