1996 Ford F-250 Xlt
Lets start off with saying if you"re looking for a pavement princess......this is not the truck for you. This is an American Deisel workhorse. It has resided in Alabama almost its whole life so there is no rust but it has character marks from working. It has 4.10 gears and will pull a house once repaired. Transmission is stuck between 3-4 and will not budge. The interior has stains on the carpet, headliner is starting to fall but overall in good condition for its age. I have over $4000.00 in new parts in this truck over the past 2 years. It has been sitting for 3 months and has become harder to start, may need glow plugs. Still fires up and runs well, A/c is cold!
1996 Ford F250 XLT with 7.3l turbo deisel. It needs a new manual transmission, throw out bearing and slave cylinder. It has a new a/c compressor, drier, orifice and flush of evap and condensor. New brake booster, new vacuum pump, glow plug relay, tires have less than 2000 miles on them. It has newer 1.0 a/r turbo with 7blade wheel similar to wicked wheel 2, pedistal with epbv delete, 3in diamond eye downpipe into 5in diamond eye straight exhaust. It has irate deisel bellowed up pipes and a TS 6 position chip... stock, high idle, 50, 75, 100, and 140 tunes.Front rotors, calipers and pads have 7500 miles on them. Front hubs have been packed and work flawless, transfercase works flawless, regular fluid changes and maintenance. Rear brakes were replaced but e brake doesnt seem to work properly after new e brake cables were put on. Has turn over goose neck ball and tow package. I installed 2 layers of insulation in the floor of the cab to help with engine noise. The rear windows dont work. I work and have no time to fix this beast. If it doesn"t sell for starting price or highe, I will keep it and eventually get around to fixing it.
