1969 Ford F-350 Ranger

1969 Ford F350. This truck started off as a Mitchell motor home, at some point in time the motor home portion was removed leaving the hole in the roof which was the access to the camper area. The condition of the cab, fenders, and other sheet metal underneath is amazing. There is surface rustonly where the red primer from the factory has worn off and on the frame as well but typical for a 50 year old vehicle with 100,000 miles that was most likely used in the summer over gravel roads. Absolutely no through rust or the start of it from the top or bottom. It does have disc brakes on the front. The 390 and manual transmission look to be original to the truck and run really well, it would sit for sometimes up to a month in between times that it would need to be used and never has an issue starting summer or winter. The power steering makes it easy to drive and the A/C does work - not that we ever used it, funny that it has stayed charged all of these years. We used this truck to block in a couple of trailers, parked on the street so that we could get them out when needed, we also used it to move the trailers around with as well as move metal containers on - like I said it always starts and runs well but it would not be something that you could go down the freeway in without replacing tires on at a minimum and probably some other things. It does not currently have tail lights, it does not matter how much time and effort you spend installing them they only seem to last a couple of days before somebody steals them. All of the wiring is there and functions, just gets a little shorter with each set of lights installed - i will provide a set if necessary when it leaves. The wheelbase is 160", cab to front face of rear tires 69", cab to axle center line 86". I can be reached at 303-594-0670 with any questions. I also have another identical 1968 chassis only, same dimensions, axles, and brakes. It had an automatic though, if the frame needed to be extended for say a car hauler this would be ideal to have both. It is not part of this listing and is not included though.
