1965 Dodge Coronet 440I am Selling One of the Nicest Classic Cars that I've ever Owned. A 1965 Dodge Coronet 2 Door Hard Top. The Car originally had a Slant 6 and Automatic on the Column. I removed the Six 2 years ago, and Installed a 1967 440 HP Motor. It has a Big Block K-Member also installed at that time. The Engine was completely gone through, including a Performance Valve Job and a Six Pack Hydraulic Camshaft. Compression is 9.9 to 1. Runs Great on Pump Gas. Has an Edelbrock 750 Carburetor on top of an Offenhauser Aluminum Intake Manifold. Engine Runs Great, and has a Slight Lope with the 6 pack Cam. Rear End is an 8.75 3.23 Sure Grip. The Transmission is a period correct 1965 727 Torqueflight from a Plymouth Big Block. That Transmission is very hard to find, but I wanted to keep it as Factory Stock as Possible. The Trans has also been rebuilt. The Front End, Ball Joints, Bushings, etc was rebuilt by the Previous Owner, who had the car for 20 years. The Red Cloth Interior is all Original, and still looks Great! The Car has had One Paint Job to the Original Color with a Basecoat/Clearcoat. Car has Factory Radio Delete. The Coronat Rides and Drives Beautifully, with No Issues at all. All Gauges work, including the Gas Gauge. The Directionals and Driving Lights are also Functional, as is the Speedometer and Dash Lights. This is a Real Nice Old School Mopar. Its Unbelievably Solid, and it's Fast!!. Please E-Mail with any Questions. A $500.00 Non-Refundable Deposit will be due within 48 hours of Auction End. Transportation and Delivery of the Vehicle is the Responsibility of the Winning Bidder.... Bid with Confidence!! No Reserve...Thanks, and Happy Bidding!!!!On Apr-16-18 at 04:49:39 PDT, seller added the following information:
Actual Miles Reading on Odometer is 79,443 not 72,440. Engine and Transmission have less than 1000 miles.
