2005 Chevrolet Express
Up for sale is a 2005 Chevy Express 2500 V8 Camper Van Conversion. This camper is loaded. I’m including everything all you see in the photos and description.

The battery isolator is connected to the main van battery and a 4 Gauge 600 volt premium cable feeds back to the vmax agm battery. The agm battery is charged when the vehicle is running and the solar panels that powers all the electronics above. It’s great of dry camping. All electronics can be also operated by 110 shore hookup through by a 13 Amp 125V AC Port Plug located outside the camper with a heavy duty weatherproof extension cord w/ storage reel.
Safety:There Backup wireless camera that only turns on you go in reverse to save power. I spliced up the camera wires through the reverse light wires. Monitor is on the dash powered by the cigarette lighter along with the dash mini fan.
For additional safety I have bolted Chain locks on the interior side doors and back doors. So if someone pick the doors they can not open the door fully even when your asleep or out and about. The camper also comes with a Mudder Carbon monoxide detector, portable can fire extinguisher and I installed a two way alarm system. When armed it detects air pressure when the door is opened and vibration outside when your away the alarm a loud panic sound. The remote vibrates notifying you that the alarm has been set off.
The bed and seating:Zinus 14 Inch SmartBase FoundationZinus Ultima Comfort Memory Foam 8 Inch Mattress. The foundation only weights 18 pounds after modification. I wanted the van to be light as possible. This frame is 14 inches tall with 13 inches clearance and the frame is well made it never squeaks or move. The bed mattress is very comfortable 8 inch deep, the best bed I purchased so far.For seating it comes with a taller baseball bucket with padded lid doubles as trash or storage.
InsulationThe roof, side walls and floors are insulated with 3/4 Energy guard poly iso sheating and it’s covered with Luan wood for the walls and roof. The floor mats are heavy duty mat built for the Chevy 2500 express its also insulated on its own. The back doors and side doors are insulated with attic cat pink blown in insulation. The van does not get too warm in the summer with The Fan-Tastic roof vent and endless breeze are a must in hot weather. Both have three speeds, 90 degree heat are a no problem. Also heat stay in during winters using the buddy heater. The curtains are Eclipse blackout 99% of light, noise reduction and keeps cold air out, heat inside. The side and back windows are insulated with Reflectix and Eclipse blackout Fabric.
Other features:The camper has a tow hitch receiver and spare tire under the van with jack. I also installed a Ventshade Ventvisor rain guard to open the door windows without rain going in. Also installed an auto Ventshade Bugflector II to prevent and protects rock chips and bugs in the windows. I traveled lot on highways with minimum bug splatter. For water in comes with a 5 gallon bpa jug fillable by water machines in grocery stores and gas stations. It has Dolphin new generation pump depenses water by push pumping the top.
Condition:The camper is in great condition, no rips in the chairs, no leaks and non smoker. AC blows cold and heat works excellent. Engine runs strong no problems. It’s got 276,000 highway miles. Engines on Chevy expresses are bulletproof, strong powertrain 4.8L 275hp excellent on the hills and mountains. Service I’ve done last year was replaced the gearbox and ball joints 8 months ago. I also got new brake lines and fittings 3 months ago with regular oil changes. Tires are good condition and Brakes are very good, Fluids are all top off and I check them frequently.
I’m selling this camper since I have traveled across the country last year and also did the amazoncamperforce program for 2 years in a row and I won’t be doing it this year. I decided to get a car for work related. And may purchase to a travel trailer in the future.
The camper is located in Debary, FL. Buyer is responsible for pickup or I will deliver 100 miles from my location, if its to far we can meet half way. I’m the owner of the Camper, title in hand and it’s clean. I have a vehicle history report. Please no trades or lowball offers. Building a camper van from scratch takes months of labor and hard work. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
