1966 Chevrolet C-10 Custom
1966 Chevrolet C10 Pickup, Longbed, very strong running 350 V8 engine that was rebuilt roughly 1500 miles ago, 3 speed manual transmission which shifts well through a hurst shifter, it has the original Protecto Plate and owners manual, it was sold new at Paul Schupbach Chevrolet in Symour Missouri on 1-15-1966. While the truck is not a number 1 or trailer queen, she is a very good looking and solid truck that draws attention wherever I've driven it and is a beautiful looking truck. Can be used as a daily driver, a weekend warrior or even weekend show truck, ready for someone to enjoy and have years of memories.
Exterior: The truck has been restored in recent years, brand new chrome bumpers-trim-door handles etc, the paint is in very good condition and the body is in very good condition, the hood has black matte stripes which match the roof. The interior of the bed has been spray lined and finished off with newer wood.
Interior: The doors shut nicely and maintain proper door gaps when closed, the interior is like new! The upholstery is excellent and is redone in grey vinyl which matches the headliner and door panels. A brand new Painless Performance wiring harness replaced original wiring with modern fuses and additional fuse positions for future modifications.
Engine: Rebuilt 350 fed by an electric choke Rochester Quadrajet. Newer radiator with increased surface area. The truck starts right up each time with a strong idle and great sound through the dual exhaust.
According to Hagerty, the 1966 C10 is a great investment! Values continue to increase year-over-year, and a C10 in show condition can fetch $24,000 - 36,000.
