1967 AMC Other
Up for sale is one of our project cars. We bought this car for its rarity, but unfortunately we will not have time to give it the proper restoration that it deserves and our storage space is limited. There was only 1260 1967 AMC ambassador convertibles made. This is one of them.
Visit the two websites below for some history on the car:
The car does run drive and stop. However, it has a pronounced miss, the carb leaks from the accelerator pumpand reverse does not work. The most we drove the car is 2 blocks at about 15mph. This car will most definitely have to be trailered to its destination. We are willing to deliver within 200 miles of 18224 at $1.75 per mile.
As you can see it comes with extra parts including the majority of a tune up brand new, a nice front bumper, good LR glass and bumper brackets.
The car is fairly solid but will require some work on the floors and fender wells. Look at pictures carefully please. The electric top works 100%! However, the rear window is out of it and that general area is in rough shape. The seats are decent however the mounting points in the floor for the front driver seat are rusted through. Again, see pictures.
All in all it is amazing that this car has made it through the years and would surely be the crown jewel of any AMC collector. I have not see another for sale in many years and I haven't seen a running one in person ever.
We encourage you to come check the car out in there person. That is the best way to know exactly what you are bidding on. The car is located at 21 Foster ave Freeland pa 18224.
All paperwork can be done onsite during pickup. Buyer is responsible for all state and document fees required. This varies depending on whether you are a PA resident.
Pickup is required within 10 days with full payment in cash. Clear title in hand for this vehicle.
PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE READY TO OWN THIS CAR!. Selling cars is our business and a non-paying bidder costs us a week of work. I will take all steps necessary to recoupe lost time and energy including eBay fees (they still make me pay the listing fees if you back out). This will include a $500 restocking fee for any winning bidder that changes their mind.
