2001 Acura Integra GS

Keep in mind when viewing the Autocheck, the mileage shown is kilometers since this Integra was sold new in Canada. The conversion factor is 1 KM = 0.62 MI. Odometer currently shows @338,000 KM which is @210,000 MI.
Owner 1(14 yrs, 9 months)
Purchased new on March 01, 2001 at Acura 2000 in Brampton, Ontario for $31,195 (CAD). Original sales invoice shows the car was rust and sound proofed by the dealership. Owner relocated to Charlotte, NC sometime in 2004 and had the Integra regularly serviced at Rick Hendrick Acura. Original owner traded the car in atRick Hendrick Acurain August, 2015. I have dealer service records dating back to 2003 showing exclusive use of synthetic fluids.
Owner 2(2 months)
Car was purchased by a Salesman at Rick Hendrick Acura for use as a personal vehicle. The Salesman had the car thoroughly gone through at the dealership including all fluids changed, transmission service, complete tune-up, timing belt and water pump, power window motor replaced, new slotted brake rotors and pads. According to the Salesman, the car also underwent a paint correction process while at the Dealership which speaks to the overall condition of the paint. All of this work was done at approx 185,000 miles.
Owner 3(2 yrs, 3 months)
I purchased the Integra from the Acura Salesman after he had decided that he had too many cars and needed to downsize his collection. I have other vehicles so the car has been used on/off for a commuter vehicle during my ownership. The car has been on frequent 3 hour trips between Charlotte and Raleigh and has never given me a single problem.
During my ownership, I have continued with the rigorous maintenance schedule although I perform my own routine maintenance so there are no official documents although I do keep and can provide details on each and every oil change that I performed including date, mileage and fluids used. I have continued to use synthetic fluids and have always used Honda oil filters. Aside from the oil changes, I replaced the valve cover gasket and cam seals to stem a small oil leak. The top end of the motor was super clean and reflective of the meticulous maintenance this car has had since new.
1.8 Lite, 210K Miles (338K KM), auto, all power, sunroof, tinted windows, 4 wheel disc brakes, clean CarFax, no accidents. Although I haven’t checked the mileage in some time, it’s reasonable to assume between 25 – 30 MPG. As stated above, car was sold new in Canada so the primary odometer scale is in Kilometers. This has never been an issue with me as the speedometer also shows MPH on the smaller scale and after a while, you can easily figure out the translation on the fly. Canadian law requires daytime running lights so this car has them which is a pretty cool feature that is unique to Canadian built cars. Still has factory AM/FM/CD that plays and sounds great.
All scheduled maintenance is current including timing belt and water pump which was done at 185,000 MI. Car does not burn oil, does not smoke and doesn’t drip oil. To the best of my knowledge, the car is in excellent mechanical condition and requires no mechanical reconditioning.
The body on this car is mostly straight with the normal share of minor dents/dings. The molding on the driver’s side has a crease in it but not that noticeable. The paint was corrected by the Acura dealership and looks amazing for ORIGINAL PAINT! There is some real slight fading just beginning on the spoiler but nowhere else. The chassis is clean with NO RUST! This car did spend a couple years in Canada but was rust proofed by the dealership so it’s rust-free, top and bottom. The paint has started to flake off on the mirror housings which is typical on these cars. Some of the rubber trim around the windows is worn and aged.
The black leather is beautiful with some normal wear but no rips or tears. Door panels are real nice, carpet is nice, no dash issues, no issues with headliner, no missing knobs. Everything works including all the power options, sunroof, radio, dash lights, etc. The seats in this car are truly amazing both in condition and design! No signs that the car has ever been smoked in. Ashtray and lighter look new.
The tires still have really good tread but are 8 years old and starting to show some dry rot so I would recommend replacing them sooner rather than later. On the bright side, tries are not that expensive for this car!
If you’re not familiar with the Integra, bottom line, they are great cars! Well built, sporty, handle like a dream and super reliable. Check some of the on-line reviews. Most average around 4.7 – 5.0 on a scale of 1 - 5. As such, they hold a strong resale value even after 17 years! This is a true 2 door sports car with a hatchback for convenience. Compared to today’s mundane, bloated, 4 door family sedans that get passed off as sports cars, the Integra is the Real Deal! I have owned several of these cars and have always been drawn to their design, build quality and driving experience. Unfortunately, I currently have a stronger need for a truck and my cherished Integra has to go. My loss, your gain!

I have tried to be as accurate and thorough as possible in this posting but I am sure there are things I didn’t cover. Feel free to ask questions or request additional photos. I have purchased cars before sign unseen and know the unease that comes with that. I will do my best to resolve any concerns. I’m also happy to work with auto transporters if that becomes necessary.
Car is for sale locally.
